Raspberry Blackout Cake
I’m planning to write a longer post tonight, but in the meantime, here’s the cake I made for my mom’s birthday yesterday:


I used the chocolate raspberry blackout recipe from VwaV for the cake, and the fluffy vanilla buttercream recipe from Vegan Cupcakes Take Over The World for the frosting. It turned out pretty well, I think! I am not the world’s best cake decorator, unfortunately, so it looked a little messy in spots. Drizzling the ganache over the sides was particularly tricky. But whatever. It’s mostly about how it tastes, right?
